Admission Process

The following is an overview of the admission process for both Calgary Islamic Schools, Akram-Jomaa & Omar Bin Al-Khattab. 


All families, current and prospective, must be in good financial standing in order to receive an application and be considered for admission for the 2022-2023 school year.

To be considered in good financial standing, families must have all of their 2021-2022 Alternative Education Program fees paid in full.

March 15, 2022
  • Application will only be sent to families of "current students" in good financial standing
  • $250 refundable application fee
  • Upon acceptance of admission, the application fee will be deducted from the Alternative Education Program Fee
  • Kindergarten application opens for all prospective students.
April 15, 2022
  • Application for "current students" closes
April 29, 2022
  • Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified
  • Application for "prospective students" opens

2022-2023 Payment Schedule & Amounts

Fees for students in Kindergarten - Grade 12 are as follows:

1st Child - $1400

Any additional siblings: $1200

All payments must be made online through School Cash only. Payments will not be accepted in person nor will they be accepted by the MCC Accounting department.

June 1, 2022
  • $450/child is due on June 1st
    • This is $700 minus the $250 Application Fee
October 15, 2022
  • Remaining Balance for each child is to be paid in full
  • This payment will be different depending on the number of children enrolled.
